About Us

  • Who are we?

Baltimore-Washington Laborers Joint Training is a nonprofit training fund jointly administered by management and union labor.

  • Where are we?

We have a state of the art training centers located in Lanham and Baltimore, MD.

  • What do we do?

Provide Construction Craft Laborers’ training to gain new skills or upgrade their current skills. Laborers new to the trade can acquire the necessary skills to enter the construction industry with confidence.

  • What does it cost?

Training to union construction craft laborers is free of charge. For most classes the training fund will provide lunch and/or a stipend to union members participating in the training.

  • How to contact us?

    Email any questions to: DCtraining@bwltf.org

  • Our Goal

Is to make sure every union laborer has the skills needed to maintain: sound employment, work safe (make it home every day), and to give our employers a competitive edge over nonunion employers.
